My crafting space...

This is my homemade craft area.

I went around the house and put to use some odds and ends that were either not being used or had junk in them that we just really didn't need or I condensed what I could to make better use of the space the junk was in. (I really did some good clean up!)

Hey, we all do what we can to make things work, right?

    1. Thanks so much Tee!
I am really having fun. BUT.. I am almost hesitant in breaking open a pad of lovely paper, I kind of want to hoard it all. Isn't that funny!
      Take care dear!

  2. Hi - glad you liked my envelope tutorials. You left a comment on one about the Post Office. Envelopes can be up to 1/4 in. thick... I send mine all the time and they don't smash them. I make mostly the 1/8 in. thick ones that I show on the video but if they are over 1/4 in. thick and over one oz... they cost more to send and need to be hand canceled. They would be considered a package instead of an envelope. That's a bummer that your post office didn't know how to handle yours. If you go to USPS.com, you can read more about it under calculate postage. I never take mine to the PO. I made a template with a 1/4 in. slot in it, so I can slide them through and make sure they are less than 1/4 in. thick. I have a scale to weigh them too. If you take one in again, I would sure tell them not to crush it. Have them send it as a package if it's over 1/4 in. thick. Have fun!

    1. I will try and do that next time I go to the post office. Just today, I got back an envelope, regular letter size and I have a small craft tag in it. It is no thicker than a letter (not many bulky embellishments)and it came back to me for $1.50 more postage. I can't believe it.
I am going in person to make them tell me why they think it has to cost me almost $2 to mail a letter.
      Thanks again... take care!
