Hello crafty friends from all over.
I missed last week (boohoo)
I have been so immersed in making wedding stuff these last weeks, I am going batty.
My son's getting married....this is my youngest of 5 sons.
My 2nd son got married last year.
My 3rd son isn't married, but he has a child with his high school sweetheart, who he broke up with for about 8 years and they are back together now.
My 4th son has not married, but he has been with his girlfriend for 9 years and they have 3 kids.
My oldest son has been dating one gal for 5 years and she does not want to marry cause her first marriage was real bad.
But enough of that... here are some pics of my beautiful messy crafty desks...
1)

Main desk.... it may look clean, but it is only clean in the center. LOL |
2)

Desk 2 - loaded with papers for a wedding mini album |

This is full of wedding album embellishments, etc. |

If anyone saw my "woyww # 252" post, you would have seen the shelving unit my hubby made and this is what it looks like. I put dotted paper to decorate each little box and put ribbon through it for the handles.
Thanks for stopping by..... and please
Come join in the WOYWW fun....

Kimmer, you have much to do planning a wedding. My goodness. My daughter married a year ago. She is so organized that she planned most everything herself. That was a blessing for me, but I wish she would have shared the tasks. Her wedding was beautiful! I like how you masked the areas of your desk that you didn't want to share. Very smart, however, I would have had to mask my entire desk. (not the one I shared, the one that I kept hidden! As for my journal, I was so unorganized last year that I decided I had to do something to keep me on track. Have a most crafty week.
ReplyDeleteI love what you have done with your new shelving. Although, I don't know where you find the time to do that and the wedding preparations, also! It has now been 20 years in May since I had to do any wedding planning. I can't believe my daughter has been married that long, but then their son is graduating from H.S, in May, too. Thank you for the peek; lovely area you have. #92
ReplyDeleteI love the look of your crafting space! I know a lot of people that are getting ready for their son's wedding, must be in the air! :) I enjoyed looking at all your pretties! #80 Angie
ReplyDeleteYour studio looks like such a soothing place to be with all the beautiful white shelving. Congratulations to your son on his wedding. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteI just love your new shelves and what youve done to them. Cant have too much storage space eh. Thanks for dropping by earlier too xx
ReplyDeleteHi Kimmer...weddings are a huge deal aren't they, but in the end just hope everyone is happy with their position. My daughter married 2 years and now has gorgeous Sophie our first gd who came to visit over Easter. Love the unit your clever hubby made and the decorating looks great. Cheers and have a great week Robyn#18
ReplyDeleteOh your shelf space looks lovely! And your desk looks familiar - just the space required to work on that's clear - absolutely as it should be. Wedding stuff all over - such a labour of love.

ReplyDeleteKimmer, thanks for your visit, your wedding album looks as if it will be brilliant, please show it all to us when it is finished. And making cards is the same as making wedding albums, but just one page.
ReplyDeleteI love weddings, when is it? Hope it goes well.

What a pretty shelving unit. The ribbons look fab on it. Weddings aren't so popular anymore these days unless you're talking about the 2nd, 3rd, or 6th one. I told hubby we're so out of fashion and that we should get divorced and remarried just so I can introduce him as my 2nd husband. Enjoy the wedding and putting the album together! Thanks for the visit earlier!
ReplyDeleteI'm really impressed with your entire space, not just the new shelving unit. You have a lovely area to craft in. I was super impressed.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my place last Wednesday. Sorry I'm late. Guess I partied too hard this week (grin). Belated WOYWW wishes from # 9.
Love the vignette style! Gah! Its taken me so long to get around this week #coulddobetter! #32
